The Song Of War: A Poem of Love and Strength in the Face of Adversity

About

15th century England was a time when kings and queens ruled the country, princesses met their prince charmings, and knights fought in battles across the land. The lives of a young English prince, named Andy, and a young French princess named Marlena, were no different. The Song of War is a poem that tells their story of how they met and nearly lost each other.

From their very first meeting, they knew how much they loved each other. Soon that love was going to be made permanent when Andy proposes to her in marriage. Everything seemed perfect for the new young couple.

Until Andy recieves his call to battle.

While he fights, his true love waits for him in the castle at home. But the days drag on, and the noble battle that Andy thought he was fighting turns out to be something he never expected. Marlena begins to wonder to herself if she’ll ever see Andy again.
